The Cabot Trail 2 is a 20″ x 24″ x 1.5″ acrylic painting on ready to hang stretched canvas. I added the 2 after the name because I have painted this same image before, but in oil paint and a slightly different style. In this painting, broad expressive brushstrokes capture the drama of the autumn hills meeting the open sea and sweeping sky. The fall foliage contrasts with the blue sky capturing the wild coastal spirit of the Cape Breton Island landscape.
