Acrylic & Mixed Media Landscapes

My landscape paintings are created on a variety of substrates such as canvas, wood, and paper. Using many layers of paint I build up the painting letting my intuition guide me. Influenced by the landscape surrounding my home they are often not based on one particular scene but of living life along the Nova Scotia coast surrounded by rolling hills and fields of wildflowers. You will sometimes find an iconic location such as the Cabot Trail, Margaree Island or other popular images.
