Description
Echoes Of The Earth, like most of my landscapes, is not based on any particular location. Most of my work is from my imagination but influenced by my life here on Cape Breton Island, always near a body of water, rolling fields, or forests. I love to watch the flocks of birds flying above the fields in fall and winter.
The creation of digitally painted work gives me an extra bit of freedom because the work is highly editable, which allows me to take chances and try new compositions and colours. Painting with an Apple Pencil is very intuitive and I consider it just another medium.
